Christmas Surprise

Christmas is a season of surprise – surprise gifts, impromptu gatherings, unexpected change in plans. This Advent, we will explore the expectations and surprise of the first Christmas. What surprise ways might God enter our lives this holiday season?

Catch the "Christmas Surprise" sermon series in worship on Sundays in the weeks leading up to Christmas at 9 am or 10:30 am. Livestream available.

Family Service Christmas Pageant

3 pm | Center Court & livestream

Bring the whole family to worship to experience the Christmas pageant, worship band, media, and candlelight at 3 pm in Center Court.  Childcare will be available up to age four. The Family Service will also be available via livestream.

Children (age 3-5th grade) are invited to help reenact the story of Christmas. The roles of Joseph, Mary, lead angel, and inn keeper have a few speaking lines. Non-speaking roles include wise ones, shepherds, angels, and baby Jesus. All children participating need to arrive at 2:30 pm to receive costumes and final instructions. There will be a rehearsal for children with speaking roles on Sunday, December 19. If you would like your child to participate, please contact Kelly Tancredi to register.

Those attending the Family Service are encouraged to bring a new or gently used book or wooden puzzle to donate to Parents as Teachers of Somerville, NJ. Look for the donation baskets at the entrance to Center Court.
