Director of Contemporary Worship Ministries

Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church

Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church is a thriving, gospel-centered congregation. We enjoy both traditional and contemporary worship, along with a full range of outreach ministries, discipleship groups, and mission efforts. We are seeking a part-time director for our contemporary worship service, currently at 10:30 am on Sunday mornings.

Overview
We are looking for someone with a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ, a love for worshiping God through music, and the ability to lead others in contemporary worship. This individual has the musical skills, leadership ability and creativity to lead the congregation in meaningful worship of God. This person also has the interpersonal leadership skills to build cohesive relationships with the worship team and the congregation by mentoring and developing the musicians, supering the media and technical personnel, and connecting the congregation through worship. This part-time position reports to the Lead Pastor.
 
Job Qualifications
  • Two years' experience in worship leadership
  • Musical training and ability. This must include singing, and preferably includes playing guitar or keyboard.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, plus a heart for people, to forge relationships with both the worship team and congregation. 
  • Preferred: familiarity with Loop Community (prime) for click tracks and Planning Center Online for scheduling.

Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a part-time administrative assistant(15-25 hours, non-exempt).

Overview
The Administrative Assistant provides support for the administrative functions of the church, working with the church database and supporting ministry leaders with administrative tasks. The Administrative Assistant reports to the Executive Director and works most closely with the Executive Director, Communications Manager and ministry staff.
 
Job Qualifications
The Administrative Assistant must have:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Publisher), and comfortable with learning other computer software applications.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in office environment preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, time management, prioritization and organization abilities, and strong team player
  • Mature, responsible, flexible, and able to work independently on assigned tasks as well as with other members of the ministry staff.
  • Experience in a church setting helpful but not mandatory; understanding mission and ministry of the church is essential.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion at all times.

Substitute Teacher

The Children's Corner School

The Children's Corner (TCC) is a non-profit Learning Center under the charter of Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church (LCPC), serving children six weeks through five years, as well as, K-5th grade students in after school care. TCC is dedicated to meeting the spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical needs of children in the community in a kind and loving Christian atmosphere. We strive to build each child's self-esteem while fostering respect for peers and adults. The school is licensed by the Department of Children and Families Office of Licensing and is a member of Christian Schools International.

TCC is currently recruiting talent for substitute teachers.

  • Variety of hours, Monday - Friday
  • For children six weeks old - 5th grade
  • No degree or certificate required.

Position Summary
The TCC Substitute is responsible for implementing TCC's program within the classroom or group to which he/she is assigned. The Substitute shall assist the classroom staff in implementing a structured classroom on an as-needed basis. The Substitute shall be responsible for aiding the childcare teacher in the implementation of the daily schedule and routine, supervising activities, and ensuring the safety, and supervision of children. 

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Must be of good character and equipped by education, training, and experience to assist with the day-to-day classroom programs.
  • Have a suitable temperament for work with children and possess qualities of warmth and friendliness.
  • Be a professing Christian who will help integrate Christian principles, ideals, and standards within the classroom programs.
  • Demonstrate dependable character and personal qualities as verified through interviews and reference checks.
  • Prior experience with children preferred.
  • Must have the ability to lift children who weigh as much as 35 pounds.
  • Minimum requirement of high school diploma. Some continuing education units in Childcare or Early Childhood Education preferred. 
  • At least one year paid experience or proven performance in an Early Childhood setting.
